At Coast2Bay, it is at the heart of our mission to continue to strive for the delivery of new social and affordable housing for those facing barriers to accommodation in the private market. Our development projects provide transition and long-term quality housing solutions for people who are faced with housing insecurities including: people experiencing or at risk of homelessness, those escaping domestic violence, First Nations people, single older women, young people, seniors and people with disabilities.

Positioned for Growth

Our pipeline growth strategy aims to address the current and ongoing affordability and supply issues we are facing in our region. We work with a wide range of partners to secure and develop social housing for low-to-moderate income households including federal, state and local government authorities, property developers, support and fee-for-service partners. We pride ourselves on our innovative development partnerships with other for-profit and not-for-profit organisations and source funding from a variety of creative and innovative means including government grants, philanthropic donations, investments and fundraising.

Development Specialists

Our in-house development team is responsible for the entire development lifecycle from acquisition through to handover to our operations teams. We work with a range of leading-edge architects, planners, engineers, builders and other industry professionals to ensure that each and every development displays our commitment to high-quality design, finish and functionality.

Site Selection

Development sites are carefully selected, close to key facilities vital to the success of our communities, such as employment, schools, shops, hospitals, restaurants, community services and transport routes. Our community engagement program expands to all new developments as they are delivered to provide support and joint activities to promote harmonious living and connection between tenants.

Queensland Government Partnership

We are currently delivering new social housing projects funded by the Queensland Government on the Sunshine Coast. Funding comes from a number of program steams and each project will provide new well-designed social housing for tenants desperately in need of a place to call home.
