Donations and Refunds
Coast2Bay Housing Group is registered as a charity with the Australian Charities and Not for Profits Commission.
We facilitate online donations through Our Community Pty Ltd operating the website GiveNow. When donating online you will be redirected to the GiveNow website.
Donations by individuals can be made in the form of one-off donations or regular gifts. Coast2Bay Housing will determine where the funds are directed within its services. If a donation is designated to a specific project, Coast2Bay Housing will use reasonable endeavours to direct that donation to the designated project but is not obligated to comply with such requests. Donations of gifts in kind will also be directed as determined by Coast2Bay Housing. Donations under our RISE2 foundation will be directed to our RISE2 projects. View the website and associated terms for more details.
GiveNow provides official receipts on behalf of Coast2Bay Housing for approved donations of $2.00 or more.
Refunds
For online donations, a refund will be processed by Our Community Pty Ltd for a User prior to the funds being remitted to Coast2Bay Housing, except in the event of a direct debit payment. Refunds are only possible to the same payment method of the original transaction. Coast2Bay Housing is required to administer the refund to the User if the funds have been remitted to Coast2Bay Housing or originated from a direct debit payment.
Coast2Bay Housing thoroughly considers all requests for a refund and will ensure that genuine errors are corrected, however we are under no obligation to give refunds and the decisions on refunds will be at Coast2Bay Housings discretion. If you would like to request a refund please provide details of how you made the donation, the amount, the date and the circumstances justifying your request.
If a donation is refunded, the associated tax receipt is no longer valid and should be securely destroyed. Please note it is your responsibility to submit correct receipts to the ATO (Australia Taxation Office).

- there is reason to believe that accepting the donation may give rise to litigation
