We saw the sunrise at Cricks Volkswagen Sunshine Coast, a major sponsor of RISE2, who donated a morning on air with local radio station leaders 92.7 Mix FM. The morning’s goal was to help us raise awareness and funding for the emergency accommodation and wraparound support services we provide to RISE2 families affected by Domestic and Family Violence.
The giving team from Bendigo Bank’s Community Bank Sunshine Coast came too and talked about how their generous grant of $500,000 is helping kickstart our building of NINE safe homes for families across our region.
We urgently need more funding to meet the shortfall of $300,000 to complete these 9 homes and we’re proactively seeking corporate and business supporters and more grants to reach our target.
The 3-hour outdoor broadcast saw generous people pop in to donate cash and via our website on the spot!
