At the recent Australasian Housing Institute’s Professional Excellence In Housing Awards, Coast2Bay Housing Group and Sundale won the Leading Innovation Award for the Better Together – A Shared Housing Community project.
Better Together Housing is a program designed to assist women find independent shared accommodation on the Sunshine Coast.
Better Together is different to regular flatmate finders as it is tailored to helping senior women find suitable accommodation in a safe and secure way.
Designed by women over 50 to meet the needs of independent women.
Participants can be women who own or rent their home but are interested in finding a like mind person to share with, or women who are looking for a new place to live with one (or more) other woman.
We were up against 23 others for the National Award so great news!
