April Booin Gari Festival 2017

Noosaville Lions Park came alive once again for the annual Booin Gari local festival in April.

Booin Gari means ‘Come this way ‘in Gubbi Gubbi language.

The festival provides an opportunity to build relationships and acknowledge the history and achievements of local Indigenous people and their culture.

A wonderful day of celebrations with music and entertainment, art, workshops, activities and food, for all ages.

Coast2Bay was one of many community groups in attendance on the day, joining in with all the fun and providing information to the local community about our organisation and the housing solutions we provide for the community.
