Tenant Christmas Party
Our tenants had a wonderful time at our annual Christmas party at Venue 114, Lake Kawana. Tilly Belle and the Doo Wop Dolls provided an entertainment spectacular and all children who attended received gifts from Santa. Thanks to Sunshine Coast Council for helping fund the venue hire for the event.
Christmas Toy Appeal
Our Annual Christmas toy appeal has launched in conjunction with 92.7 MIX FM. Toys have begun arriving at the various retailers and organisations accepting gifts.
We really appreciate the support from the Sunshine Coast community who give generously each year to ensure our Community and Affordable housing tenants receive presents for Christmas each year
The Sunshine Coast’s Biggest Car Wash
In conjunction with Cricks Volkswagen Maroochydore we held the Sunshine Coast’s Biggest Carwash. Over 180 cars were washed with all proceeds going to the RISE 2 Foundation.
This was done in conjunction with 92.7 MIX FM.
Sunshine Coast Business Awards
We were excited to win the Social Impact (large) category at the Sunshine Coast Business Awards.
This is our second win for this Award so we’ll be trying for the trifecta next year
Our 30 Year Celebration & launch of RISE 2 Foundation
We celebrated our AGM, 30 year anniversary and launch of the RISE 2 Foundation at a special event at Nambour Tramway.
Federal MP, Ted O’Brien along with Robert Skelton MP and Dan Purdie MP joined us for the celebrations.
Annual Golf Day
We had 23 teams register and play in our Golf day at Twin Waters on September 24th. A great day was had by all and the event raised much-needed funds for RISE II which will help women and children impacted by domestic violence
Tenant Christmas Party
In December 2020 we held our Tenant Christmas party. All tenants and children were invited and approximately 100 attended the event. The audience was entertained by The Doo Wop Dolls and the Tilly Belle ladies provided face-painting for all. A Santa photo booth also proved popular. A good time was had by all.
Safe Places Federal Government Grant

Our inaugural charity golf day was held at Twin Waters on September 11th.
Even though the weather was inclement it was a great day and raised $10,500 for our HELP Fund to pay for essential goods and services for tenants
