Person centred

Every person who comes to Coast2Bay has their own story, their own strengths and their own goals. We listen first. We don’t assume what someone needs. We ask, we learn and we walk alongside them. Whether it’s a tenant setting up their first home or a family navigating a difficult time, we start with the person in front of us and build from there.

Community focused

A home is more than four walls. It’s the neighbours who wave good morning, the shared garden that brings people together, the community events that turn strangers into friends. We invest in the spaces and connections that help people feel like they belong, because when people feel part of something, everything gets better.

Innovative

We are creative and design sustainable housing solutions. The housing challenge is always evolving, and so are we. We look for new ways to deliver homes, new models to fund them and new approaches to make them work for the people who live in them. From purpose-built developments to community leasehold programs, we don’t wait for solutions to come to us. We go and find them.

Sustainable

We ensure long-term economic viability, balancing prosperity with care for our environment. We think in decades, not quarters. Every decision we make considers what it means for our communities, our organisation and our environment in the long run. We build homes that are designed to last, manage resources responsibly and plan for growth that strengthens rather than stretches the communities we serve.

We work with others in a transparent, accountable and purposeful way. We can’t do this alone, and we don’t try to. Our partnerships with government, councils, community organisations, private landlords and local businesses are what make housing possible. We show up with honesty, we share what’s working and what isn’t, and we hold ourselves accountable to the people and partners who trust us.

30 years of creating homes and changing lives

For over 30 years, Coast2Bay Housing Group has been built on one belief: a safe home changes everything. What began as a small Sunshine Coast housing council in 1993 is now a Tier 1 accredited community housing provider, giving more than 1,500 people across four regions a place to call home.
