THE HELP FUND strives to do the little things that can make a big difference. It’s about helping to remove the barriers to success. With your help our tenants can have a chance at change.

Donations over $2 are tax deductible and can be made via the Coast2Bay website, EFT or via Coast2Bay reception.

The grant is for essential goods, services and/or removing barriers that entrench hardship.

There are many examples of the little big things the HELP fund has assisted with

A tenant came to Coast2Bay, who had previously been homeless and had been living in her car. The tenant had come out of a long term relationship where she had walked away with nothing.  To help fit her home with essential goods the HELP fund provided a brand new fridge.

At another property, after a first routine inspection was carried out, it was noticed that the tenant was sharing a mattress in her daughter’s room on the floor.  The HELP fund provided a bed base and mattress for the tenant.

The HELP fund has also helped with relocation costs. One tenant had been in transitional housing and have been seeking an exit option. Once a home was secured removalist costs were going to cost the tenant $1,900. Our Help fund contributed $400 towards the moving costs to ensure the tenant could relocate to their new home.

These small acts can make a big difference – and it is only with your generous donations that they are possible.

Donations, Fundraising and Grants

As a not-for-profit organisation limited by shares Coast2Bay is able to accept voluntary contributions.

Many people have offered their time and expertise to Coast2Bay over the years and as a registered charity with Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status with the ATO, we are able receive to donations and financial contributions from businesses and individuals.
